Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use
ARTICLE 1: SCOPE OF APPLICATION
These general terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales concluded through the website https://scandinave.co/
ARTICLE 2: ORDERS
Automatic registration systems are considered proof of the nature and content of the order. Scandinave® confirms acceptance of the order to the customer at the e-mail address provided by the customer. The sale will be concluded upon validation by Scandinave® of the payment for the order, i.e., the date of payment validation for orders paid online by credit card, or the date of receipt of payment by check. In any case, Scandinave® reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute regarding the payment of a previous order.
ARTICLE 3: AVAILABILITY OF ITEMS
As long as our offers and their prices are visible on the site, they are valid. The availability indicated at the time of site consultation by the customer remains dependent on the stock status at Scandinave® and, of course, at suppliers.
To create our storefront and sales catalog, we work with databases, enriched with information provided by our suppliers. Since this database contains more than a hundred items, not all of them are stored in our reserves, and our offer is therefore conditional on the availability of items from suppliers.
Only the definitive out-of-stock of an item from our suppliers leads to its removal from our sales offer. In other cases, a new order within a certain timeframe remains possible.
When an ordered product is unavailable, the customer is informed by email or on the invoice of the shipped products in the case of an order with multiple items.
Order delivery deadline: when placing the order and on the order acknowledgment, a delivery time is communicated to customers. It is calculated by adding the longest product availability time to the shipping time of the transportation method selected by the customer.
From placing the order to its shipment, the customer has the option to cancel their order.
Specificities:
Pre-order items: upcoming items are offered on https://scandinave.co/ for pre-order. This reservation is made with an indicated release date announced by the publisher at the time the reservation phase opens. This release date can be changed at any time by the publisher, who is solely responsible for the marketing of their product.
In all cases, Scandinave® strives, from the final sale date, to ship items to customers who have pre-ordered, up to the stock provided by the publisher for the release day.
ARTICLE 4: PRICES
Prices indicated in euros are considered net, excluding shipping costs. This price includes the price of the products, handling costs, packaging, and preservation of the products. They are subject to change at any time without notice, knowing that items will be invoiced based on the price in effect at the time of order registration. All orders are invoiced in euros and payable in euros. Any customs fees or local taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient.
ARTICLE 5: SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs include a contribution to preparation, packaging, and postage costs. Please group all your items into a single order. We will not be able to combine two separate orders, and shipping costs will be charged for each of them.
ARTICLE 6: PAYMENT
You have several payment methods offering maximum security guarantees. You can pay:
- By credit or private card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard) either directly on the site, in the payment form provided during the ordering process (secured entry by SSL encryption), by entering the card type, your card number without spaces between the digits, the control number (located on the back of your card), and the validity date.
- By PayPal Payment
You have different payment methods and can even benefit from payment facilities by credit card.
Payment is made on the secure banking servers of our partners, as chosen by you. This means that no banking information concerning you transits through the https://scandinave.co/ website.
Credit card payment is therefore perfectly secure; your order will be recorded and validated as soon as payment is accepted by the bank.
ARTICLE 7: DELIVERY
We deliver to your home or to a relay point. The delivery time includes the package preparation time plus the shipping time. Scandinave® delivers worldwide. The buyer is notified by email of the different stages of their order tracking: preparation and delivery.
The delivery time includes preparation time and delivery by our carrier. The advertised delivery time of 10 to 20 days is valid from the moment the buyer receives the order delivery email. The delivery time (announced by the carrier) does not bind Scandinave® to a longer period.
ARTICLE 8: WARRANTY - RETURNS - REFUNDS - WITHDRAWAL
Items supplied by https://scandinave.co/ are new and guaranteed against any defect. They are identical to those found in traditional commerce and come from all referenced publishers and suppliers.
Should an item be defective or non-compliant, the buyer has 15 working days from the receipt of the items to request an exchange or refund. If the fifteen (15) day period normally expires on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday or non-working day, it is extended until the next working day.
The customer must return new or unused items in their entirety and in their original, intact packaging, accompanied by all possible accessories, instructions for use, and documentation (in their original cellophane packaging and with the corresponding invoice). In such a situation, the buyer must send proof of the defect(s) to contact@scandinave.co (description and attached photos).
In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, Scandinave® is obliged to reimburse the sums paid by the customer, free of charge, with the exception of return shipping costs. The reimbursement is due within a maximum period of 14 working days from the date of receipt of the returned package(s).
Return shipping costs will therefore remain at your expense.
In case of a refund, we guarantee that it will be made within a period equal to or less than 14 days following the date of receipt of the returned package. No cash on delivery shipments will be accepted, regardless of the reason.
ARTICLE 9: TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP - TRANSFER OF RISKS
The transfer of ownership of the products to the buyer will only take place after full payment of the price by the latter, regardless of the delivery date of said products. However, the transfer of risks of loss and deterioration of the products will occur upon delivery and receipt of said products by the buyer.
ARTICLE 10: PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Scandinave® is the producer and owner of all or part of the databases comprising this site. By accessing this site, the customer acknowledges that the data comprising it are legally protected, and specifically refrains from extracting, reusing, storing, reproducing, representing, or retaining, directly or indirectly, on any type of medium, by any means and in any form whatsoever, all or a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the content of the databases appearing on the site to which they access.
ARTICLE 11: LIABILITY
The descriptions of the products in the databases of https://scandinave.co/ have been entered based on information provided by the publishers. Scandinave® is not responsible for the content of the works and cannot be held liable to the buyer. Scandinave's liability cannot be sought in the event of a force majeure event (strike, flood, fire, etc.).
The products offered comply with the current law of the United Kingdom. Scandinave® disclaims all responsibility if the delivered item does not comply with the legislation of the country of delivery (censorship, prohibition of a title or an author...). Scandinave® is not responsible for the content of sites to which hyperlinks may redirect from its own site.
ARTICLE 12: APPLICABLE LAW
All clauses in these general terms and conditions of sale, as well as all purchase and sale operations referred to therein, will be subject to French law.
ARTICLE 13: ACCEPTANCE BY THE PURCHASER
These general terms and conditions of sale, as well as the prices, are expressly agreed upon and accepted by the purchaser, who declares and acknowledges having full knowledge of them, and therefore waives the right to rely on any contradictory document, including their own general terms and conditions of purchase, the act of purchase implying acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.
